Fake marksheets recovered from former principal’s house
A huge cache of fake mark sheets and college degrees were seized from the house of a former principal of a college affiliated to the B R Ambedkar University by police on Friday. This is among the biggest recoveries of such documents since cops launched a crackdown on the organized counterfeit documents racket earlier this year.
The cyber crime unit of Agra police also impounded duplicate stamps generally used by the university registrar and chief medical officer.

Two held for making fake currency
An FIA team Thursday raided a printing press in Bhati Gate area and recovered fake local and foreign currency worth millions of rupees, fake visas, degrees and other fake documents.

CID seizes 70 fake degrees, certificates
The CID on Friday made a major breakthrough in the fake degree racket which was detected in November 2014. The team seized 70 certificates and degrees of various universities after five persons, who were arrested in the case, revealed during interrogation, CID officials said. Over 1,000 blank marksheets seized from four arrested men
The four men who were arrested from a hotel in Jalupura area on Sunday evening were found in possession of nearly 1,000 blank marksheets of various universities.
All the these men needed to do is type in the name, desired marks and other details in one of these marksheets and provide it to a student who would pay money, from Rs 75,000 - Rs 1 lakh - to get a degree in a matter of days, without appearing in exams and attending classes.
